Thank you for considering the adoption of a rescued dog! We are very excited to work with you through the adoption process. We will process your application as quickly as possible, but please remember we are all volunteers who work full time and have our own families’ needs to attend to.

Some people find our process lengthy, but we put a lot of time, effort, and love into these dogs. Our adoption process may take several weeks from application submission to adoption, yet it continues to be the best way for us to ensure that our dogs are adopted into loving, permanent homes.

We require veterinary and personal references and also perform a home visit prior to setting up any meetings with our dogs.

Make sure that you have read our Frequently Asked Questions and reviewed the How to Adopt page before filling out an application.

Adoption Application Form

  • (1) The name, address, and phone number of your veterinarian (if you have one)
    (2) The name and phone number of your landlord or property owner (if you rent your home)

Please note: We are a 100% foster-based rescue. We do not operate a facility or physical shelter. Our program dogs live with our volunteers in their homes while in foster care. We are also 100% volunteer-based. This means that we do not have a staff and most of our volunteers work evenings and on weekends (after normal working hours) to support the rescue. This means it may take a few weeks to go through the pre-screen and home visit process from start to finish. It often takes quite a bit less time, but sometimes can take more depending on capacity.
